| description |
|
| This beautifully preserved brittlestar has been fully prepared and was discovered in 1995. These unique fossils from England's Jurassic coast are fast becoming very rare to obtain. The matrix surrounding the brittlestar has been shaped and a flat base has been cut for upright display purposes. Brittlestars still swim and live around the British Isles to this day and have changed very little. This fine specimen has four complete arms and a partial where it was weathered out of the rock. Approximately 190 milliion years old. Fossils Direct is a premum collectors website. |
