This half nautilus has been ground gem smooth and a high polish applied to reveal wonderful open chambers which are packed with brown calcite crystals. There are also half a dozen 'Dogtooth' clear calcite crystals which have grown in the open chambers. Approximately 200 million years old. The matrix has a cut base for upright display.
