Preserved on a piece of hard shale is this more or less complete, large classic British trilobite. The specimen has been repaired however, this does not detract at all from the specimen itself. Large specimens such as this are becoming increasingly scarce to obtain thesedays.
A very well preserved and totally complete example from this famous locality. The specimen was collected in 1990 and has remained in the same collection ever since. A lovely drawer fossil for the collector of UK trilobites.

This specimen is from a very unusual location as this locality is more famous for its mineral Campylite which is an extremely sought after mineral. This complete trilobite is preserved on a slither of shale. On areas of the trilobite there tiny crystals which only adds to the interest of the piece. This is the only one we have ever seen from this locality and is from an old collection.
