| A very well preserved specimen which is approximately 108 million years old. This rare Gault ammonite has flashes of red and green natural irridescence and an immaculate pin point centre. It was discovered in 1972and resided in the Underhill Gault Clay collection. A really nice specimen for the serious collector. Quality ammonites are becoming very scarce to collect from this famous locality. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. First described by (Spath in 1924). |
