| description |
|
| This stunning specimen was discovered by the late John Huxtable and prepared by Andy Cowap. The ammonite has been preserved in pale yellow transluscent calcite and has a pin point immaculate centre. The ammonite lies in an aesthetic piece of matrix and would make a wonderful display fossil. Approximately 170 million years old. This ammonite was discovered during a temporary exposure circa 1984. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
