| This calcified ammonite was first described by S. Buckman and has nice spines preserved to its centre which is pin point immaculate. The specimen was discovered by the late John Huxtable and has been completely re-prepared. The matrix has a flat base for upright display. Approximately 174 million years old. One for the collector of uncommon oolithic ammonites from a long lost locality. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
