| description |
|
| This beautiful specimen has been preserved both sides in solid pyrite and has an immaculate centre. It was discovered circa 1973 and resided in the Underhill Gault collection. The ammonite has retained most of its natural shell which has lovely irridescence when turned to the light, mostly a green colour and the centre shines pink. Approximately 108 million years old. High quality ammonites from this famous fossil locality are becoming more difficult to find or obtain thesedays. One for the discerning collector. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
