| This wonderful display fossil exhibits two solid calcite4 ammonites in very contrasting colours. The main ammonite has various shades of brown calcite with beautiful sutures and a pale yellow Promicroceras planicosta alongside. The matrix has a cut and flat base, and attached to it is a non slip and scratch pad to protect fragile surfaces. Approximately 200 million years old. A unique display piece for the collector or just on display around the house as a wonderful conversation natural history item. This fossil has been fully prepared.
