A really beautiful example of this rare lower liassic ammonite which was discovered in 1982 from a classic locality. The ammonite has been preserved in solid pyrite and has an immaculate centre both sides. One for the discerning collector. Approximately 196 million years old.
Approximately 202 million years old, this ammonite has been preserved in solid shades of brown calcite. The specimen was discovered in 2008. This type of ammonite is becoming uncommon from this world famous fossil locality.
