  This is an exceptionally rare, three dimensional turtle carapace. This particular specimen was found by an eminent collector which he classed as a once in a life time find!! Turtle remains from Walton on the Naze are very rare and there is very little literature or specimens that have ever been found. This may well be the most complete example ever discovered! This is one for the serious collector of high end and one off pieces.

  Preserved on a square slab of flagstone is this beautiful, more or less complete Devonian fish. The fish is black in colour which stands out rom the surrounding grey matrix. The head and scales are beautifully preserved. A lovely drawer specimen.!
