This wonderfully preserved piece is from an incredibly rare fossil layer discovered in 2010. The light brown iron staining really makes the whole aesthetics come together. The reverse side also has lots of ammonites preserved. The fossil was from a temporary exposure, and is approximately 200 million years old. The specimen comes in a perspex box with a lid and felt lining. A really lovely and unique gift idea. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
