Preserved in a large matrix bowl is this very large Becheiceras specimen which is surrounded by 13 Androgynoceras' and one Tragophylloceras. The specimen has been meticulously cleaned to this high standard. Specimens of this size are rare and are highly sought after amongst ammonite collectors throughout the world. A large display specimen from the world famous Jurassic coastline of Lyme Regis.
This really good quality example has an immaculate centre and still retains some of its original shell preserved here as a white film. There is also a slight blue irridescence on the shell when turned to the light. Approximately 200 million years old.
