  A lovely example which lies on a very aesthetic piece of oolithic matrix. The ammonite is highly ribbed and has been fully prepared. The matrix has a flat base for upright display purposes. Quality fossils from this famous fossil locality on England's South coast are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain thesedays. This specimen was discovered in 2013. A really nice display piece which is approximately 167 million years old.

  A wonderfully preserved fossil also has next to the main ammonite, a Promicroceras planicosta. Both ammonites have natural irridescence with greens and blue when turned to the light. The Xipheroceras has a mouth border and both ammonites have immaculate centres. A rare and iconic fossil.
