  From the world famous starfish beds of Girvan, comes this Girvanicystis which is preserved as an inner mould. Fossils from this famous site are now banned from being collected. This particular specimen was collected in the 1970's and has remained in the same collection ever since. On the reverse of the matrix is a partial starfish, which is an added bonus.
