Found on the Jurassic coast of South West England, is this large and beautifully shaped coprolite. The coprolite was discovered on Broad Ledge, the very stomping ground of where Mary Anning used to collect some 200 years ago. Within the specimen are fish scales which only adds to the interest of this piece. An excellent conversational piece and it really looks like a piece of fossil poo!!! |

Collected in the mid Victorian era, when quarrying was very active around this locality, is this quite exceptionally preserved whale ear bone. The ear bone shows all the classic natural polishing and patina which still to this day is a bit of a mystery as to how this was done. Specimens such as this are extremely sought after and very hard to come by. A 'stand out' piece from the Red Crag formation. |

This is one for all the dinosaur collectors out there, as this is a more or less perfect tail vertebra from this classic and well known dinosaur 'Iguanodon'. The specimen was found on a beach on the 'Dinosaur Island', the Isle of Wight and has been part of my personal collection until now. |
