This is a wonderfully preserved Eocene lobster. The lobster exhibits fine detail and has its legs and claws preserved. Specimens of this completeness are becoming rare and this is a lovely fine specimen.
A really good example with some of the crab's underside preserved which is fairly uncommon. The detail throughout is very good and will make a lovely addition for the collector.
This particular example was collected in 1976 and has some of its limbs preserved underneath its carapace. It would make a lovely drawer specimen for the collector. Approximately 53 million years old.
