This beautifully prepared chalk sponge is approximately 85 million years old. The c lose up detail on the sponge surface is really nice. This locality is no longer accessible to collectors. This wonderful specimen was discovered in 1984 and has remained in the same collection ever since. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
