The surface iron staining gives the rock and some ammonites a real aesthetic look and adds definition. This is the only piece packed with ammonites we know of found in Rimpton. Approximately 200 million years old. A display stand is included with this fossil. This piece has had little preparation as in this case, natural looks best.
