This wonderfully preserved sponge has lovely detail throughout. Faringdon in Oxfordshire is world famous for its fossil sponges and other material. Sadly, these sponges are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain thesedays. This specimen was collected in 1988. A lovely drawer fossil. |
