  ref SP1783
This wonderfully preserved trackway was made by a small crustacean crawling through a muddy sea floor or swamp some 325 million years ago. It was studied by the ate John Cooper whilst he worked in the NHM London, and is an ex Manchester Museum specimen which was exchanged in the early 1970's. Clear trackways are a mine of information and can tell us a lot about the creatures and the environment at that time. One for the discerning collector, a unique trace fossil.
