This beautifully hand crafted cabachon is a very large size and would make a wonderful addition incorporated into a piece of jewellery. This iconic fauna is approximately 200 million years old, in which billions of these small ammonites (Promicroceras planicosta) met their sudden demise, either through volcanic activity from the Mendips or a poisonous algal bloom. A totally unique piece. This cabachon is GRADE A material.
