This rare type of Ludwigia is a morphospecies and is a highly variable. It was found in 1987 and has been fully prepared. The matrix has a flat base for upright display. This absolutely fantastic display ammonite lies within a wonderful and highly aesthetic piece of matrix. The matrix has a cut base and attached are many anti slip and scratch pads for peace of mind when displaying on delicate surfaces. This fine zonal ammonite is approximately 170 million years old and was discovered in 1990. The ammonite has been fully prepared and has an immaculate pin point centre. Fossils from this lo9cality are highly desirable and make wonderful and unique display items.
