description
A stunning example from a fully grown adult Ichthyosaur. There is a small repair to the tip and a small pidedeok boring hole in the root, however this does little to detract from the overall aesthetics of the tooth. The specimen was discovered in 1981 from the exact place where Mary Anning used to collect fossils some 200 years ago. Any quality bone remains are becoming incredibly scarsse from this iconic fossil locality on England's South Coast. Approximately 200 million years old.
