description |
|
Found on the Isle of Sheppey many years ago and carefully extracted from the surrounding rock, is this three dimensional turtle carapace. The upper shell has wonderful detail and is of high quality. On the underside of the nodule is part of the under-belly. A highly three dimensional and very rare fossil which anybody can recognise as being a turtle. A great example, very tactile and a wonderful conversation piece. An excellent addition to any collection! |
