description |
|
Recently purchased from an old collection is this absolutely stunning example of a whale ear bone. What makes this stand out is the sheer beauty of the patina which is so typical of fossils found in the Red Crag. This specimen was collected well over 100 years ago and is almost impossible to find thesedays. A stunning specimen with an old label still attached. One for the collector. |
