A classic rarity. These sponges are very highly sought after throughout the world. This particular specimen is a complete juvenile with excellent detail. Horn Park Quarry has been a protected S.S.S.I site for the last 15 years, this specimen was collected over 30 years ago. A must for the collector of rare fossils. Approximately 175 million years old. These sponges require many hours of preparation. |
