An exceptionally rare fossil plant from the shores of Skye. This plant has been preserved in two dimensions and all the leaves are attached to the stem. The nodule has been repaired however you can not see this from the front. This fantastic specimen was discovered in 1989 and saved from the sea's ultimate destruction. A real collectors piece for the discerning collector of UK fossil plants. Approximately 175 million years old. |
