description |
|
Fossil Nautilus from the Oolite of Skye are exceptionally rare and highly sought after by collectors worldwide. The surrounding matrix also contains several Ludwigia obtusiformis which not only identify the zone but add lovely aesthetics to the overall fossil. The Nautilus has been preserved in solid calcite with hints of blue's and dark greens. Overall a super multi-ammonite and Nautilus fossil for the collector of rare pieces. Approximately 175 milion years old. |
