| Only very rarely do Whitby Nautilus of this superior quality come onto the open market for sale. The Nautilus has been fully prepared matrix free then ground gem smooth and finally a professional polish applied for maximum aesthetics. Most of the Nautilus has been preserved in beautiful Pyrite with Brown Calcite making up the centre which is immaculate both sides. All the collecting on the Yorkshire coast per year probably only yields one or maybe two Nautilus as good as this one.
