description |
|
This is an incredibly rare nautilus which was collected over a hundred years ago from this world famous Derbyshire locality. Very few of these magnificent Nautiloids have survived over the decades. The nautilus itself has lovely detailed chambers and Siphuncle opening. The very centre has not been preserved however, this should not deter the serious collector. Approximately 345 million years old. |
