description |
|
Another stunning display Oolithic Nautilus which has been ground gem smooth and then a high polish applied to reveal the shell's internal structure and colour. There is also a fragmentary siphuncle preserved which is a lovely feature. This super fossil would make a fantastic and unique addition for either the collector or indeed an interior designer. The matrix has a cut base for ease of display. Approximately 167 million years old. |
