description
An incedibly rare Gastropod which was discovered by Andy Cowap in 1997 after a small rock fall. The fragile spines of this elusive Gastropod are usually destroyed either during fossilisation or collecting of a specimen. Before preparation only a fraction of the shell was visible, but after hours of preparation by Andy Cowap, this very fine specimen emerged. This is one of only a handful of Dicroloma's we have seen in over thirty years of collecting from Burton Bradstock. There is also a beautiful Belemnite Rostrum next to the Gastropod (Passaloteuthis paxillosus 70mm). This is a one-off opportunity to acquire a stunning Gastropod. Approximately 175 million years old.
