description |
|
Preserved on a small piece of flagstone is this exceptionally well preserved Devonian shark fossil. As seen in the photographs, a white dot is preserved which is the optic capsule which is just behind the eye. The specimen is approximately 385 million years old and they simply don't get any better than this. |
