| Only on very rare occasions do specimens of this species come up for sale on the open market as they are rare. This is a fine and more or less complete example that has been prepared out of the hard siltstone matrix. This species did not grow much larger than 30cm in length when in adulthood, so this example is almost as big as they get. A rare and much sought after specimen from the classic Old Red Sandstones of Ornkey, Scotland. Larger images can be seen in showcase fossils. |
