description |
|
This specimen was collected in the late 1890's from the chalk pits of Lewes in Sussex. This is the classic chalk fish and is now excessively rare to acquire. This example shows a mass of scales, and numerous ribs. Specimens of this calibre are highly sought after throughout the world and rarely are seen for sale. |
