description |
|
A lovely display fossil showing a three-dimensional piece of fossil wood (160mm x 50mm) and eight ammonites (Promicroceras planicosta). Pieces of this quality take many hours of preparation. These "woodstones" are becoming rare from this classic of localities. This specimen is approximately 200 million years old. Prepared by Andy Cowap. |
