description |
|
This Victorian collected specimen is the best part of a calyx from this well known and highly sought after crinoid. What makes this more important is its label which can be seen in the images. It is from the British Natural History collections which was a group of scientists at the time who formed a club, "The Whittington Club", an interesting and exciting group of people. |
