description |
|
This wonderful specimen shows two heads attached to their stems. The surface is semi-pyritised which gives the piece a gold shimmer and is highly aesthetic. The dynamics of this example are clear in as you can imagine the crinoids waving around feeding attached to a piece of driftwood some 200 million years ago. Crinoid of this quality very rarely comes onto the open market for sale from this location. Discovered in 1992. One for the serious collector of fine fossils from the UK. |
