An absolutely stunning example of this rare Kimmeridgian ammonite which has been preserved both sides in solid calcite The ammonite is matrix free and was recovered from a large beach worn nodule in 1961. This is the larges intact specimen we have come across and the centre is pinpoint immaculate. Serious collectors will really appreciate this wonderful ammonite.
