description |
|
This rare cretaceous ammonite has the most magnificent surpulid worm casts, all in life positions whilst the ammonite still swan around (Glomerula gordialis). These twisting surpulid worms have really made this fossil a fantastic and highly aesthetic item, there isn't many around with these wonderful features on both sides of the ammonite. The fossil has been fully prepared and resided in the late Professor GORDON WALKDEN collection. Fossils Direct is a collectors website. |
