This absolute giant of a Becheiceras was discovered in 1993 and has been fully prepared, it lies perfectly in a 'Green' ammonite nodule. The detail on the shell is very nice and it has a perfect centre. The fossil also comes with a display stand which really makes the overall look. This type of ammonite from Charmouth are becoming very difficult to obtain thesedays, especially ones of this size and quality. Approximately 193 million years old. This ammonite will make a magnificent an d totally unique display fossil for either the collector or just around the home. Discovered on England's Jurassic coast. |
