description |
|
The specimen is approximately 167 million years old and yet another stunning example of an ammonite which has had many hours of preparation applied to it. The overall picture of this specimen resembles the sun rising between two mountains. When light is present at the back of the ammonite, it passes straight through resembling the sun. Prepared by Andy Cowap this fossil would make a magnificent display fossil which is unique. |
