description |
|
Only very rarely do ammonite fossils such as this magnificent specimen come on the open market for sale. It exhibits two solid calcite ammonites and both have stunning colours and sutures along with very good centres. The fossil was discovered in 1986 and has been fully prepared which has taken many hours. Collectors of fine UK fossil ammonites will appreciate how rare this double is. Approximately 155 million years old. A totally unique fossil for the discerning collector. |
