description |
|
A very intense lens of ammonites surrounded by a calcite border which really adds to the colour and overall aesthetics. Many hours of preparation has gone into this wonderful fossil. Billions of these small ammonites were killed off in a single event catastrophe some 200 million years ago. The specimen has a natural base for upright display. Top quality specimens from this iconic location are now becoming very scarce. |
