description |
|
A beautiful and totally unique fossil with ammonites prepared on both sides, giving it a wonderful visual effect. Around the outside of the matrix are attached Baryte and calcite crystals, which also adds to the overall aesthetics. When the two pieces fit together you would never know there is a death assemblage of solid calcite ammonites preserved within. This superb fossil is approximately 200 million years old and would fit into any high end collection. |
