description |
|
These two solid calcite ammonites have been washed up amongst worn branch and wood fragments, a moment in time captured some 200 million years ago. The smaller of teh two ammonites is a Promicroceras planicosta, both ammonites have immaculate centres. Wood and ammonite combinations if prepared in the right way, always make beautiful and aesthetic fossil associations. A wonderful display piece for the collector. |
