description |
|
This stunning example is a rare type of Brasilia and has been preserved in various shades of yellow calcite, the ammonite also has an immaculate centre. Top quality ammonites from this iconic locality are incredibly scarse to collect thesedays with little erosion, overcollecting by universities, colleges and private individuals. Prepared by Andy Cowap. Approximately 174 million years old. |
