| A huge and stunning display Stephanoceras with a fantastic complete mouthborder and a very good centre. Ammonites of this size and completeness from the UK are exceptionally rare. Many tens of hours has gone into preparing this one off display fossil. This magnificent fossil will make a huge statement piece for any top class interior designer. The matrix has a level base and attached to it is an anti slip and scratch pad for peace of mind when displaying on wooden or glass surfaces. The ammonite was discovered in a temporary exposure many tens of feet below the earth's surface. A real one-off, unique ammonite which is approximately 170 million years old. |
