This rare double was discovered in the late 60's and has been fully prepared. Both ammonites have wonderfully preserved sutures and are solid calcite throughout. This unique formation is the most Westerly lias in Europe and is approximately 208 million years old. One for the discerning collector of rare UK Liassic ammonites. |
