description |
|
A truly wonderful piece of preparation work perfectly executed by Andy Cowap. This extremely rare example also displays an Asteroceras Blakei and Xipheroceras Xiphus. Pieces prepared with this intensity are very rarely offered for sale on the open market and is a one off, highly aesthetic fossil which is approximately 200 million years old. Many hours of painstaking work has gone into this particular specimen. Some of the ammonites still retain their original shell preserved here as a white film. Marston Magna is a worldwide, iconic Liassic fossil site. WHAT MORE CAN ONE SAY!! |
